Cats Awaiting Adoption
- Kittens
- Kittens are young cats up to 18 months old.
The minimum age for homing is 8 weeks although it depends on the maturity of the kitten. Some kittens need longer to develop than others so 10 weeks is the average age we suggest.
As with babies, the younger they are the more time needs to be spent with them.
Please consider this when looking to adopt a kitten.
We currently have a selection of kittens available for adoption
Here is a selection of the kittens we have rehomed over the past year. Please contact Amanda on 01582 732347
- Ice & Black Ice
- Ice and Black Ice These 14 week old brothers are shy around people as they were born in a car park and have only had home comforts for 4 weeks of their short lives. They are litter trained and eating well. They will play if they think you are not watching. A very patient home is needed for them, with lots of stimulation and treats(ref Amanda)
- Eddie & Bella
- Eddie and Bella are a 9 month old brother and sister pair. Both have been neutered and would suit a reasonably quiet family home. Eddie is a very friendly boy who is full of mischief. He likes to "borrow" things to play with, keys, teabags, jewellery etc. Bella is a bit more reserved and likes a more relaxed life. They have a special bond and need to stay together (ref Annie)
- Poppy
- Poppy is a 6 year old girl who likes to be outside in good weather. She doesn't wander much beyond the garden and will sleep all day only moving for food. She needs to be kept up to date with flea treatment so as not to aggravate her allergy. Although she is independent, she will accept a stroke but does not like to be cornered or confined. She is micro chipped. (ref Amanda)
- Bella
- Bella is a 14 year old female who loves people and a comfy bed. She is micro chipped and just wants a loving home to retire to (ref Dawn)
- Lady
- Lady is a lovely chilled 10 year old female. She is friendly and happy to be around people of all ages and other animals. She has had her 1st vaccination and is due her 2nd in 2 weeks. She recently had her teeth sorted ( she has few left now ) and has recovered well with no problems. (ref Dawn)
- Cooper
- Cooper is a young adult female due to be spayed before rehoming. She is a happy go lucky cat who likes company but also her own space. She has raised kittens and has also been aunty to two older kittens. Although she may be shy at first, she will soon settle and become a lovely addition to a family. (ref Emma)
- Alice
- Alice is a small 9 month old female. She is shy at first but likes to be fussed on her terms. She will nibble your fingers and have her belly rubbed once she settles.
(ref -Amanda)
- Mummy & Nutmeg
- Mummy (left) and Nutmeg (right) are mother and daughter. Mummy, who is pure tabby is aged approximately 7 and Nutmeg, who is tabby and white is aged approximately 6,they are both looking for a quiet home together, with no other pets nor young children. They are both spayed and love being stroked but don't like being picked up. Nutmeg, can be vocal and talkative however, Mummy is a quieter character. If you can give these two a loving home, please contact Emma, 01582 750637 (ref Emma)

Please contact Amanda on 01582 732347 (Luton) about the above cats. As we rely on donations to enable us to continue our charitable works, we suggest a donation of £40 per cat. PLEASE NOTE we do not return calls to mobile phones - as we are a charity we need to control our telephone costs.
The cats above are just a selection of those awaiting new homes. All cats over 6 months of age will already have been neutered before being available for homing.
Feline encourages new owners to have the cats micro-chipped before they leave their foster homes. Micro-chipping can help to reunite owners with their cats in the shortest possible time. In the future we would hope the only cats on this page are those given up by their owners rather than strays! Please ask for details.
Feline will normally pass on all relevant information they have on the cats (except the previous owner's details), although sometimes this can be rather limited, but we assess all the cats before they are offered for homing.
If you have any worries or questions please feel free to ring and ask - we are happy to pass on our years of experience.
Please contact Pam on 01582 612257 about the above cats.
Please contact Brenda on 01582 391593 (Luton) about the above cats.
- Max and Macey
- Brother and sister, these two-year-old blue-point rag dolls have the classic rag doll nature - very laid back and placid. Rag dolls, being semi-longhaired, are also easy to care for, with minimal grooming. They keep their striking blue eye colour for life. Max is a big, long-legged cat who loves a cuddle, and he is neutered. Macey is a bit more reserved and a bit smaller, but also has a lovely temperament, and she has been spayed. They are looking for a good, loving home, together if possible. We ask for a donation of £40 each for them.

Please contact Tina on 01707 270207 (Hatfield), 9am-8pm 7 days, about the above.
